ESTIMACI\u00d3N DE LA INUNDACI\u00d3N POST INCENDIO EN EL ESTERO MARGA-MARGA.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Los incendios forestales generan cambios en las propiedades del suelo que alteran los procesos hidrol\u00f3gicos y aumentan la escorrent\u00eda y la producci\u00f3n de sedimentos. En este trabajo se modela el impacto de un incendio ocurrido en la cuenca del estero Marga-Marga sobre la amenaza de inundaci\u00f3n, utilizando el modelo WEPPcloud para simular la generaci\u00f3n de sedimentos en siete subcuencas bajo escenarios con y sin incendio. Los resultados se
\nintegran a un modelo num\u00e9rico basado en las ecuaciones de Saint Venant, para evaluar la propagaci\u00f3n de la inundaci\u00f3n y su relaci\u00f3n con el volumen de sedimentos transportado. Se observan diferencias en el caudal peak y en la extensi\u00f3n del \u00e1rea inundada entre ambos escenarios, evidenciando un aumento del nivel de amenaza post-incendio. El trabajo propone como desarrollo futuro acoplar las concentraciones de sedimentos con el modelo hidr\u00e1ulico, con el fin de mejorar la representaci\u00f3n del riesgo en eventos extremos.<\/p>\n
